Cooper's Furnace

Located near the Visitor's Center, Cooper's Furnace has lots to offer locals and visitors to the lake. Its amenities include:

 

  • picnic shelters that can be reserved for a $50 fee (one located at each site, each holding a maximum of 75 people)
  • grills
  • picnic tables
  • handicapped accessible
  • playground
  • hiking trails (access Cooper's Furnace Trail from here)

Army Corps of Engineer Day Use Fees:

  • boat launch without beach $3
  • boat launch with beach $4
  • vehicle $4
  • commercial vehicle $1
  • pedestrian/bike $1
