Bartow History Center

The Bartow History Center is located in Cartersville and features a detailed history of Bartow County that dates back more than 200 years to when the Cherokees inhabited the region. The exhibits include artifacts, photographs, documents, interactive exhibitions that tell the story of settlement, the Cherokee removal, Civil War strife and the lifestyle of Bartow inhabitants throughout the years. The museum also offers a variety of workshops, history camps, lectures, and school activities. There is a museum store on site.

Hours of Operation:

Mon - Wed 10 am to 5 pm
Thur 10 am to 8 pm
Fri - Sat 10 am to 5 pm
