Lakeside Trail

Lakeside Trail is an easy 3/4 mile hike that begins at Red Top Mountain State Park Lodge's parking area. It loops behind the lodge along the shores of Lake Allatoona. It is ADA accessible for the entire length of the trail. The trails main feature is the 1869 Vaughn Cabin that is located right on the trail. There are special programs held at the cabin. Numerous benches line the trail and shoreline for hikers to enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
