Iron Hill Trail

Iron Hill Trail is a moderate 3.9 mile loop in Red Top Mountain State Park. Parking for the trail is located off Red Top Mountain Road, on the right a half mile past the campground. It is a gravel trail and is open for both hikers and bikers to enjoy. The trail winds along the banks of the lake and goes through a historic area that homed an active iron mining community in the 1800's. While taking this trail, you will enjoy a variety of native plants and wildlife.
