Homestead Trail |

Homestead Trail is a 5 1/2 mile moderate hike that begins from the porch of the Red Top Mountain State Park Visitor Center. It turns north for one mile, crosses Lodge Road and then makes a 3 1/2 mile loop through beautiful park areas. Part of the hike follow the lakeshore. After completing the loop, hikers will return to the same one mile hike that takes you back to the porch. Homestead Trail was given its name from the many homesteads that existed on the loop.
