McKaskey Creek Campground

Located at the north end of the lake and east of Cartersville, McKaskey Creek Campground has 51 sites. 32 of these sites have electric and water hookups. Some of the campsites are premium and have water views. Primitive sites with no concrete pad are also available. The campground is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers.

Rules

  • 3 cars per campsite and a maximum of 6 visitors in addition to the registered camping party
  • Noise is banned between 10pm and 6 am
  • They will lock up the gates at 10:30pm and re-open the campsite at 7am
  • Check in time is 4pm or later and checkout time is 3pm
  • Two pets are allowed, but certain restrictions apply

 

Reservations

Reservations should be made at least three days in advance by calling 877-444-6777 or visiting www.recreation.gov. There is a two night minimum for weekends and a three night minimum for holidays. The maximum length of stay is 14days. If you don't have reservations, there are also first come, first serve primitive campsites available.
