Blankets Creek Trails

Blankets Creek Trails were the end product of a collaboration between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southern Off Road Bike Association (SORBA) and Cherokee County Recreation Authority.

The Blankets Creek Trails include 12.5 miles of off-road biking trails. The trails included in Blankets Creek are:

  • Mosquito Flats (one mile for beginner riders): Bi-directional every day of the week. Be careful of your speed; it is a learning trail for children and beginners.
  • Dwelling Loop (3.5 miles for intermediate riders): Directional - Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri are clockwise or to the left days and Tue, Thur, Sat are counter clockwise or to the right days.
  • South Loop (4 miles for advanced riders): Directional - Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri are clockwise or to the left days and Tue, Thur, Sat are counter clockwise or to the right days.
  • Van Michael Loop (4 miles for advanced riders)

 

Helmets are required.

The access point is off of Sixies Road at Blankets Creek in Cherokee County.
