I had the honor of meeting Capt. Robert Eidson, on 7/14/2010, as I was launching my kayak with 5 year old daughter Kira on Lake Allatoona. Without introduction he approached to offer a hand off-loading my Ocean Kayak Prowler 13 from my truck rack; I was a bit surprised since so few people do that. As I was about to launch, Capt. Robert was trailering his boat and I recognized the guide service; I check his weekly fishing reports often to see what is happening on the water.

Today I fished with Brian and his two uncles John and Carl. The striper bite today was very good. We caught mostly stripers today and most of them where in the 10 lb range. The water temperature is finally where it needs to be for great fishing. And will only get better. Brain, John and Carl thank you for spending the day with Firstbite and I look forward to seeing you guys again next spring.....

Today I fished with Rodger, Robert, Jenny and Tammy. The bite on Allatoona is really starting to heat up. The Hybrids are starting to school up and are starting to bite. We caught good numbers of Hybrids and stripers this morning and even had a couple of doubles and one triple. Nothing big this morning but the action was strong and steady. It has been a long winter and it is good to see the Dead Sea is starting to come alive....

Today I fished with Jeff and his son Cole. Jeff is a big GT fan and Cole is a UGA fan. And as most of you know I love instigating football and baseball between clients. And it is even better when it is father and son. lol

We saw one of the coolest things today. Cole spotted two Bucks up in the woods fighting. These two guys went at it with horns lock for about 10 minutes. I have never seen this before so I thing I got more of a kick out of it then the guys did.

Today I fished with our very own cartersvillealex , Mark and Marks day Lynn. Alex has fished with me many times , but this was the first time I fished with Mark and Lynn. The early morning bite was very good but slowed down quickly as the sun came up. We ended the day with about 12-13 fish. The day was almost to pretty for fishing. The boat traffic from Saturday and Sunday had the fish scatter.

Today I fished with Paul and his son Brandon. Paul and Brandon are regular clients and both know how to fish. The bite today was again very good. Today I fished with one of my favorite family's Tom, Jason, Eric and Lilly. Tomorrow Lilly will turn 5 years old. And todays trip was part of her birthday present. The bite today day was great. We caught Stripers and Hybrids and lost a few really nice fish. We had one hit a U-rig so hard that it broke 30 lb wire leader like it was nothing. We still have Thursday open this week, and a few days next week if you would like to get into some of this great action.
